We are currently hiring for a full-time Project Superintendent.

Job Summary:
The Superintendent is responsible for the on-site management and
supervision of all electrical construction activities. This role
will oversee the daily operations on the job site, including
managing labor, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that
projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The
Superintendent plays a critical role in maintaining quality
standards, ensuring adherence to the project plan, and managing the
overall progress of work in the field.
Requirements: Key Responsibilities:
- Field Supervision: Oversee all on-site electrical construction
activities, ensuring that the work is performed safely, according
to specifications, and on schedule. Supervise and coordinate
electricians, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Project Execution: Ensure that electrical installations are
completed in accordance with the contract, project schedule, plans,
and specifications. Monitor work progress and make adjustments to
the daily work plan as necessary to meet project milestones.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor the on-site workforce,
ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their
tasks safely and efficiently. Provide clear instructions and
guidance to foremen and electricians.
- Safety Management: Enforce company safety policies and ensure
compliance with OSHA standards on-site. Conduct regular safety
meetings, inspections, and audits to maintain a zero-incident job
site.
- Schedule Management: Work with the project manager to develop
and maintain the project schedule. Coordinate with other trades and
subcontractors to ensure that project phases are completed in the
proper sequence and avoid delays. Maintain a 6 week look
ahead.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all electrical work meets the
company's quality standards. Conduct inspections and testing to
verify that installations are done correctly and meet code
requirements. Address any deficiencies or rework as needed.
- Coordination with Project Management: Maintain regular
communication with the project manager regarding job site status,
potential delays, material needs, and labor requirements. Provide
daily and weekly updates on project progress.
- Material & Equipment Management: Oversee the ordering,
delivery, storage, and use of materials and equipment on the job
site. Ensure that all materials are accounted for and used
efficiently to avoid waste.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and supervise
subcontractors working on-site to ensure they adhere to project
timelines and quality standards. Address any issues that arise with
subcontractor performance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily
work activities, including labor hours, material usage, and any
changes or delays. Complete and submit daily reports, time sheets,
and other required documentation.
- Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any
job site conflicts or challenges that arise, including design
discrepancies, material shortages, or weather-related delays.
Collaborate with the project manager to find solutions and keep the
project on track.Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electrical trade, with
at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards,
including NEC, OSHA, and NFPA.
- Proven track record of successfully supervising large-scale
electrical projects ($1M+).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and
coordination between trades.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability
to motivate teams and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and
technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to
changing conditions on-site.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office,
Procore) for reporting and communication.Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- Familiarity with lean construction practices or continuous
