TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Fort Myers, Florida, 33908 About The Position Job Title: ED Hold/PCU Float Position Job Specialty: Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks, with a strong possibility of extension Shift: Flexible, depending on patient needs and floating requirements Guaranteed Hours: Based on the needs of the medical center Experience: 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required License: FL/Compact nursing license required (recent Nursys must be on profile) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: Degree accreditation must be reflected in the profile Job Description: - Nurse will not be floating to the Emergency Department. - Patient ratio varies from 4-6:1, depending on patient mix. - Expected to work with adult and geriatric populations. - Utilize the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. - Must be flexible and willing to float, including to sister campuses. - All requests for time off or changes in schedule must be submitted during the initial application. - Cultural fit is essential; travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff. - Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documents. - Wearing Galaxy Blue scrubs is required. - Travelers are the first to float to different units and campuses.
